School Council

On Thursday 27th September the school held elections so that the children could choose a class member to be part of our school council and Junior Travel Ambassador Team.  This is in keeping with our promotion of British Values and democracy. The candidates read speeches, and the children voted for who they wanted to be their councillor for their class.

On Wednesday 3rd October Miss Waugh took two of our school council members and a sports ambassador member to an anti-bullying event at South Shields Town Hall. They worked with the 'Super Safety Squad' and children from other schools and had lots of fantastic ideas about how to tackle bullying in schools.
